This exam evaluates for benign hemangioma of the liver.
You will be asked to have nothing by mouth for 4 hours before the study. After the first injection, you will wait 15 minutes before taking any images. After 15 minutes, a second injection of a radionuclide will be given and images immediately taken. You will return for additional images in 1 hour. The exam will take about 2 1/2 hours.
