X-ray Radiologic Technologist
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated X-ray Radiologic Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of diagnostic radiology, medical terminology, and anatomy, with experience in various imaging modalities including X-ray and possibly CT. This role involves performing diagnostic evaluations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Duties
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray or CT scans in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and immobilization to obtain optimal images while maintaining patient comfort.
- Apply aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures requiring sterile environments.
- Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and ensure images meet quality standards for accurate diagnosis.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and optimize imaging parameters to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment with precision and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and policies related to medical imaging.
Requirements
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent licensure in radiologic technology.
- Proven experience in diagnostic radiology including X-ray.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles essential for accurate image acquisition and interpretation support.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control standards in medical imaging environments.
- Ability to operate complex medical imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and explain procedures to patients effectively. This role is vital for delivering precise diagnostic information that supports effective patient treatment plans within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Physicians Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioner
Alabama Medical Group, P.C. is seeking a full-time Physicians Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the specialty of Infectious Disease for direct patient care in the hospital setting. Job duties include triage, assessment of patient health status, prescribing and monitoring treatments for patients and providing a continuum of care, documents patient information and care in patient medical record. This position is in a hospital setting under the supervision of an Infectious Disease physician. This position provides support for multiple Infectious Disease physicians requiring excellent communication between midlevel and patient’s physician in a hospital setting.
Masters degree and successful completion of accredited physician assistant program or CRNP masters program. National certification required. State license required.
Schedule is 7 on/ 7 off. Weekday hours of 7 a.m.-5p.m. Weekend hours are 8a.m.-3p.m.

Hours are Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
